Some Girls

Some Girls is a girl "super"-group comprised of Juliana Hatfield, fellow Blake Babies alum and Mysteries of Life co-founder Freda Love, and Heidi Gluck. I say "super"-group because all three have had successful musical careers independently of their Some Girls project.

Once again, I owe my knowledge of Some Girls, to Pandora, a wonderful source for finding new music. Social Control off of their second album, Crushing Love, is the song that caught my attention. I like the whole album, but already find myself getting a little of tired of it. On My Own Again, He's On Drugs Again, and Rock or Pop are the three songs from the album that will stick with me. I feel that if I were to boil the album down those are the three that will stick with me. I guess what I'm trying to say that is of the 12 or 14 songs on the album, On My Own Again, He's On Drugs Again, and Rock or Pop, are the three that will stick with me. OK, I'll stop saying that. I envisioned that going on a lot longer sentence after sentence saying the same thing and always ending with the three that will stick with me, but I got bored.

Up next The Eames Era...
